Alison Watson
Alison serves as the Head of Administration & Finance at Sussex Chamber, where she has been a dedicated and indispensable team member for over 30 years. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment have been critical to the Chamber's success. Alison’s expertise ensures the smooth operation of the Chamber’s internal processes, providing a solid foundation for its continued growth and effectiveness in serving the business community.
Amanda Young
Amanda has served as the Head of Membership at Sussex Chamber for over three years, where she leads the membership team with dedication and strategic vision. Alongside her leadership duties, she also oversees the planning and execution of the Chamber's events and training programmes. Amanda is deeply committed to engaging with the Chamber's diverse business community and is passionate about fostering strong relationships to support the growth and success of businesses across Sussex.
Kara Grant
Kara is the Head of International Trade at Sussex Chamber, leads her team in managing export and customs operations with precision and expertise. Claire Witz
Claire is the Skills Project Director for Future Skills Sussex, a key initiative led by Sussex Chamber of Commerce as the Employer Representative Body for the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) in the Sussex area. In her role, Claire is responsible for driving the strategic development and implementation of skills programmes that align with the needs of local employers and the wider economy. Her leadership ensures that the LSIP effectively addresses skills gaps, enhances workforce development, and supports the region's economic growth by equipping individuals with the skills necessary to thrive in the evolving job market.
Jess Knight
Jess, is the Events and Membership Executive at Sussex Chamber and has been an integral part of the team for over four years. She manages an extensive events programme, successfully implementing over 100 events annually, which play a crucial role in connecting and engaging the Chamber's diverse business community. With her broad knowledge of business membership and events management, combined with valuable international trade experience, Jess excels in fostering strong relationships with members and supporting their growth. Her expertise and dedication significantly enhance the Chamber's ability to serve and support businesses across the region.
Lewis Knight
Lewis is a Membership Executive at Sussex Chamber and has been a valued member of the team for over two years. With a broad knowledge of business membership and relationship management, he plays a key role in overseeing the Sussex Chamber's extensive training programme and implimenting editorial content for the Chamber’s Business Magazine, Business Edge. His expertise ensures that the magazine delivers valuable insights and updates to the business community, while his management of the diverse training programme provides members with essential professional development opportunities. Peter is the Junior Digital Marketing Executive at Sussex Chamber, where he has been for nearly three years. Working closely with Ana, the CEO, Peter manages the Chamber's marketing strategy, oversees social media accounts, and plays a vital role in promoting events, training programmes, international trade initiatives, member benefits, and support services. His efforts are crucial in enhancing brand recognition for both Sussex Chamber and Future Skills Sussex, ensuring a strong and consistent presence across digital platforms. Peter’s contributions are key to amplifying the Chamber’s outreach and engagement within the business community.
Louie Holmes
Louie is the Local Skills Improvement Plan Coordinator for Future Skills Sussex, an initiative led by Sussex Chamber of Commerce as the Employer Representative Body for the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) in the Sussex area. In his role, Louie is instrumental in coordinating efforts to align local skills development with the needs of employers, ensuring that training and educational programmes effectively address regional skills gaps.
