eCert

What is eCert?

 

eCert is a secure online service that allows customers to complete Certificates of Origin along with other certified documents using the online tool.  With eCert you can easily create and upload documentation for approval by the Chamber of Commerce. eCert is the original and most widely used online certification tool in the UK, with over 60 Chambers of Commerce utilising the service to make certification easier for the Chambers and customers.

 

 

Why should I be using eCert?

eCert allows you to quickly create documents such as:

  • UK Certificates of Origin, that can be Certified by the Chamber of Commerce
  • Arab Certificates of Origin, that can be Legalised by the Embassy
  • EUR1s, which we authenticate on behalf of HM Revenue & Customs

You can also upload other export documentation on to eCert that requires Chamber Certification or Embassy Legalisation.

 

 

 

 

How do I get started?

Registration is FREE and can be completed online in just a few moments. Register here 

Step 1- Register on eCert

Register as a new user & Company on eCert selecting Sussex as your chosen chamber.

 

Step 2 – Register with Sussex Chamber

If not done so already you then need to complete the Formal Undertaking & Signature List & Direct Debit mandate so we can set up an invoicing account for you.  Please email these completed form to export@sussexchamberofcommerce.co.uk

 

Step 3 – account approved

We will then approve your account, so you can then proceed to set up any other users.  You will also need to upload any authorised Signatures on to the site.
