The Chamber holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) once per year, usually in the autumn. Any Member of the Chamber can attend the AGM but voting is restricted to one vote per Member company.
At the meeting, Members vote to approve the accounts, approve the appointment of new Non-Executive Board Members, approve the minutes of the previous AGM and vote to approve the appointment of the Chambers’ auditors for another year.
Occasionally, changes may need to be made to the Articles of Association or other governance policies and these are also voted on by Members at the AGM.
A Notice of AGM, the audited accounts, and the previous AGM minutes can be requested giving Members the opportunity to ask any questions or make any enquiries before the meeting itself.
