1 in 20 adults experience suicidal thoughts during their life. In our beautiful county of Sussex that equates to over 44,000 people in West Sussex and over 27,000 people in East Sussex.  To ensure that these numbers are reduced a new innovative approach has to be taken and here, on this course, you will have the opportunity to learn these life-saving skills.

Most suicides are preventable when the appropriate training is put in place, but it is essential we are not just relying on intervention at that critical moment in time when a person is sadly about to take their life.

Whatever business sector you are working in you can do your part to ensure staffs’ health, safety and welfare. This course will give people in business the knowledge that empowers staff to prevent their mind spiralling to a dark place, and, if it does, know how to stop the spiral, and turn it back to a brighter place.

Join our ground breaking Suicide Prevention – The Real Solution course, to ensure you are able to implement this crucial stage that has been missing thus far in suicide prevention.

In the sad event of being with a member of staff who is at that moment in time wanting to take their life, we will also be covering the safest way forward for all concerned and, learn the best approach to initiate a conversation and effectively communicate with staff.
