At Intralink, Richard has several roles, including heading up the Government Services group, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring consistent delivery across all of Intralink’s offices in Asia. He is also involved in energy, materials, and industrial projects, so he works with clients on projects related to hydrogen, batteries, and smart materials.

Prior to Intralink Richard worked for the UK government in Osaka and Fukuoka, helping British companies sell to Japan and Japanese companies invest in the UK. Earlier in his career Richard worked for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in the global procurement of machinery for power plants.

Richard has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College and has spent most of his career in Japan in International trade roles and is a fluent Japanese speaker. He is President of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan and enjoys the beach and barbecuing in his spare time.
