When refurbishment works on this grade II listed building were held up due to the discovery of rising damp, damp-proofing experts MGA Contracts knew that The Dryzone System was their first choice. They were subcontracted to survey the source of the dampness by the original contractors.

Many different extensions and wall types had been added to the building over the years but the source of the rising damp was traced to an original irregular stone wall. This wall did not have a damp-proof course.

Because of the thickness of the wall and the irregular mortar pattern, Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream was chosen to treat and isolate the wall. The flexible and long nozzle of the Dryzone Applicator Gun makes it the ideal choice.

It is also the most tested and accredited rising damp treatment available on the market. It is BBA approved and scientifically proven to out-perform competing products. Tom Harris, Manager at MGA, says, “Dryzone is a reliable and proven method for stopping rising damp, which is why we use it.”
