Based in Worthing, West Sussex, Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd, is the UK’s largest digital thermometer manufacturer and exporter of electronic thermometers and temperature probes.  The company were delighted to team up with local charity, Guild Care this December by supporting their Christmas campaign.

Guild Care has been making a difference to the people of Worthing and its surrounding areas since it was first established in 1933. Today the charity runs three care homes and over 30 community services helping over 3,000 people of all ages each year. ETI’s support will enable a team to deliver a traditional, hot, Christmas meal to a number of Guild Care’s clients on Christmas Day and will ensure they see a friendly face and enjoy a nutritious meal.  The Christmas meal is part of the charity’s wider Christmas campaign, “Worthing Cares” which helps tackle loneliness and isolation, at what can be an especially tough time of year for many.  As part of this initiative, Guild Care staff and volunteers are also visiting over 600 of their services users to spread some Christmas cheer and deliver a special Christmas gift box.

Jason Webb, ETI Director commented - “The opportunity to work with Guild Care is always a pleasure and we have supported them for many years as part of our ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments. From our longstanding partnership we have seen just how important the services Guild Care provide are, and the support they offer to meet the needs of the local community. We are proud to work with a charity that makes such a difference to people’s lives and have enjoyed supporting their Christmas campaign. We look forward to continuing our collaboration into the New Year”.
