On May 17th SEA LIFE Brighton re-opened for the first time in 2021 and we were super excited to ‘sea’ our first guests walk through the doors!

Like many businesses both here in Brighton and nation-wide, we have been itching to get back to what we do best- giving people a good time and helping them create memorable experiences.

Like many businesses both here in Brighton and nation-wide, we have been itching to get back to what we do best- giving people a good time and helping them create memorable experiences.

During this period of closure, the team here were as busy as ever, working hard to get our awesome attraction looking it’s best, all the while ensuring our hundreds of cool creatures were looked after and happy.

Our message of Breed, Rescue and Protect is just as important as it ever was and as a team, we really focused on that whilst we prepared for re-opening.

In the last 12 months we’ve welcomed six new Blacktip shark pups- a record litter- and great for the preservation of the species, which is threatened in the wild. And this month we look forward to celebrating World Turtle Day with our magnificent rescued Sea turtles Lulu and Gulliver- thought to be the oldest aquarium turtles in the world!

We will also be shouting about our amazing Day & Night ocean tunnel again for 2021 and giving more people a chance to dance along our bio-florescent tropical shore, as well as showing off our pretty remarkable new ant display (it’s cooler than it sounds)!

Later in the year, we hope to be able to hold some events to really show off our attraction and to re-connect with residents and businesses. However, until such a time that this is allowed, if you haven’t visited for a while and would like to come and check out what’s new please feel free to reach out to me on [email protected]

(mark it FAO Neil- VB) to arrange a visit- I’d be happy to see you.

Good luck to everyone who has just re-opened for business, and here’s to a great summer!
