Pentagon are delighted to welcome two new Setter Technicians to the team

The later part of the year has seen the technical Setter team at Pentagon increase from five to seven! Pentagon are delighted to have welcomed Adam Abusetta and Dave Mayhead to the already strong team of plastic injection moulding technicians, this is quite the milestone for Pentagon and moves the business into a new chapter.

Unique in the offering of both full on-site mould tool manufacture and plastic injection moulding production we have been fortunate to experience steady growth in demand for our UK services post pandemic.  With increasing demand for technical moulding that require high levels of technical mould setting, we have not only invested in the upskilling of existing team members through external provider trainings with the Polymer Training Centre and other industry bodies, but we have also been looking to external labour markets to support the increase in demand.

With over 50 years of trading this is the first time that Pentagon has expanded the number of team members within the setting team to this level, the overall head count within the organisation has more than doubled within the last two years. This reflects the increasing demand for our comprehensive range of services and a celebration of the continued support we provide our customers production demands, and the growing portfolio of components across varying industry sectors we provide.  Further supporting both team and employee growth our organisation continues to invest in training across several roles within the business, helping us to continue to deliver exceptional service at all levels, in line with strategy planning for the future.

Not stopping at investment in people, 2025 will see Pentagon take delivery of two new plastic injection moulding machines that will continue to drive efficiency in the manufacturing process while also continuing factory renovations to deliver LEAN manufacture improvements and increase working areas and efficiencies within the factory setting.
