HSEnergy Group Ltd

At Sussex Chamber of Commerce, we’re always proud to celebrate the achievements of our members—and this month, we’re delighted to shine a spotlight on HSEnergy Group, a leading innovator in the renewable energy sector.
HSEnergy Group has recently achieved ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, a significant milestone that highlights the company’s dedication to quality management and its commitment to providing the highest standards of service to its customers. This accreditation is a testament to the strong processes and continuous improvement culture that underpins every aspect of HSEnergy Group’s operations, from residential solar installations to large-scale commercial energy projects.

In addition to this achievement, HSEnergy Group’s Managing Director, Neil Mitchell, has recently been appointed to the Policy Liaison Group (PLG) for Future Homes—a prestigious advisory body helping to shape the UK’s future energy policies. Neil’s appointment reflects HSEnergy Group’s growing influence within the sector and provides the company with a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the future of sustainable energy, not only in Sussex but across the UK.
HSEnergy Group is also at the forefront of some exciting new developments in the energy storage space, helping businesses unlock the potential of battery technology to transform their approach to energy management. Thanks to recent changes in legislation, businesses can now not only cut their energy costs through smarter storage solutions, but they can also generate revenue by participating in energy trading schemes. By storing excess energy during off-peak periods and selling it back to the grid when demand is high, businesses can turn their energy infrastructure into a valuable income stream—while also supporting grid stability for their local communities.
The company’s innovative approach isn’t limited to the commercial sector. HSEnergy Group is also bringing its expertise into the education sector, helping schools, colleges, and universities benefit from tailored energy storage solutions. These systems not only help educational institutions reduce their own energy costs and carbon footprint, but they also create an opportunity for schools to actively contribute energy back into their surrounding community. By feeding stored renewable energy into the local grid during peak demand times, schools and universities can play a key role in stabilising the grid and supporting their neighbours with clean, low-cost energy.
This active participation in local energy supply also contributes to the reduction of strain on the UK’s national grid infrastructure, reducing the need for costly, large-scale grid upgrades. With the government projecting £75 billion in grid infrastructure investment to meet the 2035 electrification targets, solutions like those provided by HSEnergy Group are helping to ease that burden—offering a smarter, more collaborative approach to energy management and supply.
We are proud to have HSEnergy Group as an active member of Sussex Chamber of Commerce and look forward to following their continued success as they lead the way in delivering innovative, future-focused energy solutions for businesses, schools, and communities across Sussex and beyond.
